Police dog Kaos back in action after stabbing that almost cost him his life
In a miraculous turn of events, Brisbane police dog Kaos, who nearly died when he was viciously stabbed in the neck after chasing down an armed offender, has been cleared to return to duty.

A POLICE dog that was stabbed in the neck last month has been miraculously cleared to return to duty.
Police dog Kaos was knifed while arresting two alleged offenders at Gordon Park, in Brisbane’s north, on February 2.

The gash was 12cm long and required emergency surgery to save the german shepherd’s life.
Officers held a vigil at PD Kaos’ bedside during his recovery, with fears the seven-year-old dog may never work again.
But the Queensland Police Union confirmed on Wednesday that PD Kaos was back in action.
“Operational Police Dog ‘Kaos’ has been cleared by the vet to return to full operational duty and is back next weekend,” QPU executive member Shane Prior said.
“Kaos was stabbed in the chest causing a 12cm wound after pursuing two offenders in Gordon Park.
“Senior Constable Jimmy Griffiths is stoked that Kaos is back working with his mate and thanks everyone for their support.”
Two men were charged over the alleged attack on PD Kaos.
