Police appeal for footage, witnesses to Rockhampton hit-and-run
A teenager has been left with critical injuries following a hit and run in central Queensland early on Christmas Eve.

A teenager was taken to hospital with critical injuries following a hit-and-run in Rockhampton early on Thursday.
Police say the incident occurred at an intersection in the suburb of Norman Gardens about 1am.
A white ute travelling along Yaamba Rd hit the male pedestrian at the intersection with Moores Creek Rd.
The ute left the scene, leaving the 18-year-old seriously injured on the road.
Members of the public provided first aid before emergency services arrived.
The teenager was taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are asking that anyone with footage, or who witnessed the incident, to come forward.
