The body of a man found at a train station west of Brisbane has left police seeking help from the community as they work to solve the mystery of who he is.
Detectives are appealing for public assistance to identify the man, whose body was found at the East Ipswich Railway Station about 8pm last night.
According to the Queensland Police Service, initial investigations suggest that man’s death is not suspicious.
However, mystery surrounds who the man is, with police stating he is yet to be identified.
“The man has been described as Caucasian, aged between 25-40 years old and was last seen wearing black long pants, a grey coloured singlet top and no shoes,” police said in a statement.
Anyone with information which could assist detectives with their investigations should contact police.
