Intruder broke through window, fired gunshots into Alexandra Hills home

A home on Brisbane’s bayside was sprayed with bullets during a terrifying home invasion on Friday night. The culprit remains on the run.

Numerous gunshots were fired into the home of an Alexandra Hills couple spending a Friday night at home, when police say an armed intruder broke in during the late night home invasion.

The man, who has yet to be found by police, gained entrance into the Prince of Wales Parade address after he fired a single bullet through a glass window.

It’s understood he then fired at least another four shots while inside the home, before he fled the scene in a car just after 11pm.

According to police, the armed intruder was scared away by a resident at the home.

Police are yet to find the man responsible and are unsure on the circumstances of the incident.
