Wannabe wolf trader Tyson Scholz charged after Instagram video

The Gold Coast’s wannabe wolf trader has been hit with traffic infringement notices after his latest exploits on Instagram.

'Wolf' share trader Tyson Scholz in more strife with the law

Police have thrown the book at Insta-famous Gold Coast share trader Tyson Scholz after he filmed himself riding a Harley Davidson on a ritzy Glitter Strip street without a helmet.

Scholz, a self-styled “wolf” trader who likes to flaunt his lavish lifestyle to his thousands of social media followers, has been charged with unlicensed driving, using a mobile phone while driving and failing to wear a motorbike helmet in the stunt near his home in the luxury Ephraim Island estate at Paradise Point.

He posted the video of him riding the black Harley, with its distinctive WOLF number plates, as an Instagram story on Saturday, but it backfired spectacularly when police launched an immediate investigation.

Police said a 36-year-old man had been given a notice to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on September 23.

It’s Scholz’s second run-in with the law in less than a year after cops seized his yellow rented Lamborghini last October over a series of high-speed traffic infringements.

In another blow, he was last year ordered to pay his mother more than $750,000 over a bitter investment dispute but pleaded poverty, claiming during legal proceedings that he was on the dole.
