Two men charged after Brisbane home sprayed in dramatic drive-by shooting

Two men charged after a house was reportedly shot at several times from a moving car in Brisbane’s north will remain behind bars.

Two men charged over an alleged drive-by shooting at Carseldine, in Brisbane’s north, on Wednesday have been remanded in custody.

Police were called to a two-storey house on Ray St at Carseldine about 12.30am Wednesday after reports two gunmen sprayed it with bullets from a car window.

It is alleged several shots were fired at the upstairs bedroom of the home where it’s believed up to 15 people live, including several infant children.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

Trent Leonard John Kunde and Caleb Dennis Foote, both in their early 20s, were arrested after police executed a search warrant at a Caboolture address on Friday.

Neither Kunde or Foote, who are each on six charges, applied for bail in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Kunde is charged with acts intended to maim on April 27, unlawful possession of weapons, three drug-related charges and possession of anything used in the commission of a crime.

Foote’s charge of acts intended to maim was dismissed and replaced with a charge of being accessory after the fact to acts intended to maim.

Foote also is charged with possession of weapons, two drug-related charges, authority required to possess explosives and stealing.

The two men were arrested after police executed a search warrant at a Caboolture address on Friday.

Their cases will be mentioned on June 6.
