A therapy dog has been rescued by police after allegedly being stolen in an alleged Logan car theft and driven about 7km north to a southern Brisbane suburb.

A therapy dog has been rescued after being allegedly stolen along with the car it was inside on Wednesday afternoon.
A 44-year-old Greenslopes man exited his Mazda 3 on Logan Rd around 4.20pm Wednesday and returned to find the car – and his dog – gone.
Police tracked down the vehicle in Stones Corner later that afternoon, and arrested a 29-year-old Camp Hill woman who allegedly stole the car, with the dog on the front passenger seat.
The woman was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.
Rhianna Maree Wilson’s case was heard in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday and adjourned to August 7.
She was remanded in custody and will appear via video link on that day.
