Sickening Coolum Beach road rage incident caught on dashcam

Horrifying footage of a road rage incident at Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast that resulted in a gruesome leg injury has surfaced.

The incident involving a 42-year-old man and a 26-year-old female outside a 7/11 petrol station on Yandina Coolum Rd was captured by another driver.

The incident occurred at Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast.

The footage shows the moment the female driver of the blue Subaru gets out of her car before throwing an object at the car behind her.

The ute then attempts to drive around the woman but instead runs her over.

It is unclear from the footage whether the driver stopped to render assistance.

Queensland Police Service confirmed they attended the incident which occurred at 5.30pm on Friday afternoon.

Paramedics also attended the job, transporting the female driver in a stable condition with leg injuries to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
