Police have charged a teenager after a man walked into a Sunshine Coast McDonald’s restaurant with alleged stab wounds to his neck and chest.

An 18-year-old will stay behind bars until his next court date after he allegedly stabbed a man in the neck and chest.
Corey Mitchell Sellies-Cullen did not appear when his matters were heard in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday.
Duty Lawyer David Crews said Mr Sellies-Cullen wouldn’t apply for bail.
Mr Crews said the 18-year-old would apply for legal aid and asked for an adjournment of four weeks.
Police will allege the 41-year-old man was allegedly stabbed in the neck and chest by Mr Sellies-Cullen who had approached him in a carpark off Coronation Ave, Nambour, and demanded his backpack about 10pm on April 20.
An altercation allegedly occurred during which the 41-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the head and upper body.
Mr Sellies-Cullen allegedly fled with the backpack.
Emergency services were called to Coronation Ave in Nambour about 10pm on Wednesday after reports the 41-year-old man had entered a McDonald’s restaurant with stab wounds.
Ambulance officers including critical care paramedics treated the man for serious neck and chest injuries.
Police will allege they were able to locate and arrest the 18-year-old man in Maroochydore about 7pm on April 21 after viewing CCTV recordings.
The 18-year-old Nambour man has been charged with one count each of armed robbery, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place.
Acting Magistrate John Milburn adjourned the matter to May 20.
