Multiple paramedics have been taken to hospital after a car slammed into an ambulance, causing it to roll in the middle of a busy intersection in Brisbane’s north.

The Queensland Ambulance Service vehicle was travelling to an urgent code one emergency about 7.36am when it was struck by a car at a Bridgeman Downs intersection.

The impact caused the ambulance to roll onto its side, blocking a lane at the Bridgeman and Graham Rds intersection.

Two paramedics suffered some shoulder pain and were taken to St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in stable conditions.

A patient from the other vehicle also suffered some shoulder and knee pain and was taken to St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in a stable condition.

The crash caused some traffic issues but the vehicle has since been removed from the road.

All lanes are open.
