Manhunt underway after two women shot at in Brisbane’s south

A quiet suburban street in Brisbane’s south was disturbed by gunfire when a man reportedly exited a BMW and shot at two women.

Shots fired, hit Brisbane homes

A manhunt is underway after two women were reportedly shot at near a unit in Brisbane’s southeast on Tuesday morning.

The two women aged 41 and 32, were leaving a unit on Adelaide St at Carina about 6am this morning when a man exited a silver BMW parked nearby, and fired a shot at them.

The bullet missed both women who escaped unharmed, while the man went back to his car and continued driving towards Stanley St.

Police are now appealing to the public for any information that could help identify the man or his silver BMW and its whereabouts between 4 - 6.30am.
