A mam has been left fighting for life after suffering a head injury after an altercation with another man near Bundaberg.
Queensland Police have charged a 27-year-old man after a 38-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries at Burnett Heads on Tuesday, June 20.
About 8.30pm, emergency services were called to a hotel on Zunker Street following reports of an altercation between the pair.

Police will allege the older man was assaulted then thrown to the ground.
The 38-year-old Burnett Heads man was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment to a critical head injury, where he remains.
A 27-year-old Burnett Heads man has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and will appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court tomorrow, June 23.
