A 34-year-old Currumbin man has sustained critical injuries following a collision between a car and an e-scooter on the Gold Coast on Tuesday night.
Investigations indicate that at 7:30pm, the man was riding an e-scooter eastbound on Reedy Creek Road when he crossed into the path of a Toyota Corolla travelling south on Bermuda Street.
Police allege the man was not wearing a helmet.
The driver of the vehicle, a 23-year-old Robina woman, was not physically injured.
