A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after an alleged assault in Brisbane’s CBD that hospitalised another man with serious injuries.
Police arrested a 29-year-old Laidley Heights man after an alleged altercation broke out between three men outside a venue in Eagle Lane about 1.20am.
A 23-year-old was allegedly assaulted and hit his head on a concrete kerb, when it’s believed he lost consciousness.
The man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
Brisbane City detectives arrested the 29-year-old at the scene, and charged him with grievous bodily harm after they investigated the early morning incident.
He is set to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on October 19 after he was granted police bail.
