‘It’s a boy!’ – Thoughtless gender reveal leads to police investigation

A gender reveal south of Brisbane has attracted attention for all the wrong reasons. SEE THE DASHCAM FOOTAGE

Blue smoke billows from a red Holden Commodore as a family learns the sex of its newest arrival.

And according to police, the moment also constituted dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Dashcam footage shows the red Holden Commodore VP conducting the gender reveal at Logan last Saturday just before 11.30am.

The burnout was performed first on Burrinjuck St and then Timberlee Drive, Marsden.

Police say the burnout created “excessive noise and blue smoke which obstructed the visibility of other motorists on the public roadway”.

There was a group of people that gathered nearby taking photos and videos of the gender reveal.

“Police are now appealing to anyone who has information in relation to who was driving the vehicle at the time, to come forward,” a spokesperson said.
