A teenage delivery driver has survived a frightening ordeal after having his car stolen at knifepoint by a group of men in Norman Park late on Sunday night.

The 19-year-old was completing a delivery on Adina Street when a dark hatchback stopped nearby on Waite Street and several men got out of the car and approached him from behind.

One of the men threatened him with a large kitchen knife before several other men entered the man’s white Mitsubishi Mirage and drove it away.

The dark hatch also drove away and the two vehicles were last seen driving onto Crown Street.

The delivery driver did not suffer serious physical injuries during the holdup.

Queensland Police are urgently appealing for anyone who may have seen the black hatch or the teenagers stolen white Mitsubishi Mirage or who may have relevant dash camera footage to come forward.
