Two men, a woman and two-year-old child missing in a remote part of Far North Queensland have been found after a widescale search.
The two men, a 19-year-old and a 23-yearold, a 23-year-old woman and a two-year-old girl left Pormpuraaw in a car headed for Kowanyama at 2pm on Friday, May 20.
At 1pm on Saturday May 21, their vehicle was located by a member of the public, abandoned and bogged south of the Coleman River.
It was believed the group left the vehicle on foot in search of assistance.
They were reported missing at 7pm on Saturday night, with a search and rescue operation immediately started.
Local police conducted a foot search, while Queensland Government Air Helicopter and fixed wing aerial searches combed the area.
At about 11.30am on Sunday police confirmed the group had been found safe and well.
