A jury has been unable to reach a verdict on whether a Blue Care co-ordinator was guilty of raping an intellectually impaired woman who used the service.
Daryl Robert Lederhose pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape and one count of indecent treatment when he appeared before Hervey Bay District Court on the first day of the trial on Monday, November 21.

Mr Lederhose was alleged to have committed the offences when he was working for Blue Care.
The woman had a disability that required the services of the organisation, according to the Crown prosecutor.

Mr Lederhose ceased working with Blue Care in 2019.
The case will be mentioned again in court on Thursday, December 1.
