Court documents reveal new details following death of Kierra-Lea Jensen

Court documents have unveiled details of an alleged murder west of Brisbane following the death of a 28-year-old woman.

New details have emerged in court documents after a 28-year-old woman died west of Brisbane.

Police found the body of Kierra-Lea Jensen in a house on Flinders Dr in the Ipswich suburb of Leichhardt on July 15 following a welfare check.

Her de facto partner Kitchel Kevin Shillingsworth, 36, unemployed, has since been charged with murder (domestic violence offence).

Court documents showed that Shillingsworth resided at the address where the alleged murder happened.

He allegedly left the address in a white Toyota sedan prior to police arrival.

After a dramatic arrest involving the police helicopter and tyre spikes, Shillingsworth was arrested at Peak Crossing.

He was also charged with dangerously operating a car on Boonah Beaudesert Rd in Wyaralong of Scenic Rim Region.

A neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, earlier said the residents living at the property moved in about six months ago.

The neighbour also said they’d heard noise coming from the property.

“I heard yelling and screaming coming from the house,” the neighbour said.

“It’s been happening for a couple of days.”

Ms Jensen’s funeral was held in Sumner last Thursday, July 25, with family and friends showing tributes to the deceased woman.

The case was adjourned to August 30 in Ipswich Magistrates Court for mention.

Shillingsworth was remanded in custody and no pleas have been entered.
