Cricket’s admission into the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics is set to provide Australia with a conveyor belt of bat and ball specialists from Queensland who could go on to win gold.

They’re the best young guns who are smashing boundaries and taking scalps coming through our junior grades and they could one day make it to one of the globe’s biggest events.

From the Far North to the Gold Coast, the below young guns were the leading wicket takers and run scorers across Queensland last summer.

While a number of rising stars had already transitioned to play senior cricket across the state, these were the top players across junior competitions.
