Paris Olympics ‘24: James Bond actor Daniel Craig steams up the Games with an appearance at the equestrian

Paris has sweltered through some significant heat during the past two weeks of the Olympic Games, and at the equestrian, it just got hotter with the appearance of Daniel Craig during the showjumping in Versailles.

Daniel Craig has made a hot and steamy appearance at the Paris Olympics.

He attended the showjumping at Versailles and then watched our 14-year-old golden girl Arisa Trew skate into the history books as our youngest medallist in history at La Concorde.

Craig looked every part the Bond in a full navy suit and tie, despite the soaring temperatures.

The appearance comes less than a month after Spanish brand Loewe unveiled the 56-year-old British actor as the star of their new Fall/Winter 2024 men’s collection, where he’s dressed in flamboyant creations from it-designer Jonathan Anderson.

Craig later visited Omega House, which has taken up residence at the picturesque Hôtel de Poulpry, just steps from the Musée d’Orsay.

He’s been an ambassador with the brand, who is also the official timekeeper of the Olympics, since he first took the role of James Bond for Casino Royale in 2006 and was spotted wearing a new watch that won’t be released until later this year.

“To see Paris in all its glory for the Olympic Games is quite spectacular,” said Craig. “I have always appreciated Omega’s craftsmanship as well as their eye for design; but to see their precision technology in action here at the Olympics, while the world is watching, is remarkable.”
