POLICE have decided to issue public nuisance tickets to two rugby league players who were involved in a brawl outside a Fortitude Valley nightclub.
North Queensland Cowboys centre Tautau Alma Moga and West Tigers’ Sauaso Jesse Sue did not front the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday for the mention of the charges levelled against them.
Police prosecution said they’d offered no formal evidence in court about the charges — as it was duplicitous — and hand them both infringement notices instead.
The public nuisance tickets amount to $683 each.
The scuffle erupted outside of Hot Gossip nightclub in October, and involved a number of high-profile players.
