Gold Coast coach Des Hasler has ramped up his clean-out of the Titans by axing former Broncos prop Keenan Palasia.
Palasia has been offloaded to Super League club Leeds Rhinos following a disappointing season at the Titans.
After featuring in Brisbane’s 2023 NRL grand final team and being signed by ex-Gold Coast coach Justin Holbrook, Palasia only managed 15 mostly underwhelming games for the Titans this year.
Palasia, 27, quickly fell down the pecking order at Parkwood and was only handed three starting opportunities by Hasler.
The Samoan international was contracted at the Titans until the end of 2025, but has been released following the acquisition of former Kangaroos and Blues Origin prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard.
The Titans have made no mention of Palasia’s immediate departure, but Leeds announced his signing this week.
“I’m excited for a fresh start and to begin my next journey in a new country but most of all, I am looking forward to wearing the Rhinos jersey,” Palasia said.
Hasler has added Campbell-Gillard to his 2025 squad and will be looking to blood Wallabies convert Carter Gordon next year.
