With a minor premiership already in the can, Intrust Super Cup favourites Sunshine Coast have set their sights on even greater heights.
Ten years on from their maiden title, the high-flying Falcons (38 points) will enter Round 21 with a view to shattering more records against fourth-placed Townsville.
One such record on the line is the individual point scorer’s mark of 312 set back in 2012 by Redcliffe legend Liam Georgetown.
Brisbane discard Todd Murphy is considered by many to be the frontrunner for this year’s Petero Civoniceva Medal and sits on 250 points with three rounds remaining.
Murphy has averaged 12.5 points per game this season after being let loose by Red Hill and is likely to overtake Darren Nicolls’ 274-point effort from 2016 as second highest haul in the competition’s current format.
However, a bag across Rounds 21, 22 and 23 could see the one-time Cronulla utility write himself into the record books.

Meanwhile the top four is yet to fully crystallise with Wynnum-Manly (32), Burleigh (30) and Townsville (30) all jockeying for position.
Norths Devils (26) are dark horses for a top-four berth should other results fall their way while Tweed Heads, Easts and Redcliffe should round out the finalists provided they win at least one of their three remaining games.
