Police in Queensland are now investigating the incident between former cricket star Michael Clarke, TV host Karl Stefanovic and their partners.

Police in Queensland are investigating the incident involving former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke, Today Show host Karl Stefanovic and their partners, sisters Jade and Jasmine Yarbrough, after footage of it emerged last night.

The fracas, which was filmed by a bystander in Noosa on January 10, saw two of Australia’s most high profile celebrities and their partners in a public blow-up. The footage was initially published by The Daily Telegraph.

“Queensland Police are investigating an incident between a 30-year-old woman and 41-year-old man depicted in footage at Lions Park on Gympie Terrace in Noosaville earlier this month,” police said on Thursday evening.

“As this matter on January 10, 2023 is under investigation, the Queensland Police Service is unable to provide any further comment.”

Clarke is 41 years old and his girlfriend, Jade Yarbrough, is 30. News.com.au has contacted both of them for comment.

No charges have been laid.

On Wednesday night, Clarke told The Daily Telegraph: “I accept full responsibility for this altercation and am shattered by my actions.”

The fight began when the two high-profile couples and their celebrity accountant mate Anthony Bell were at dinner at a beachside restaurant.

It’s understood Clarke’s celebrity fashion designer ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards and Jade had been in contact, sparking the confrontation between Clarke and Jade.

The footage shows a shirtless Clarke limping in a park surrounded by a group who are trying to calm the situation, while a furious Jade screams at him then slaps him across the face.

“You f**ked her on December 17 … You f**ked her, you’re a f**king dog,” Jade screams.

Clarke responds: “Baby you’re wrong, you’re wrong.”

The screaming match took place in front of multiple people in a park, about 9.30pm, and was so confronting that an onlooker could be heard yelling “there’s children over there” as they encouraged the group to take the fight elsewhere.

The bystander who filmed the fight said he was first alerted to the drama when he spotted Clarke and Stefanovic in a heated exchange.

Clarke and Yarbrough first went Instagram official in August and were seen together in paparazzi photos in September out the front of Stefanovic’s house.

Clarke, the cricket TV commentator-turned breakfast radio host was reportedly introduced to Yarbrough through Stefanovic.

Their relationship came eight months after Clarke’s brief romance with Edwards, whom he dated after splitting from wife Kyly.

Clarke, 41, is also close mates with Yarbrough’s business partner’s husband, Travy Bacon.

Yarbrough, who runs a successful interiors company named Merci Maison, celebrated her 30th birthday last year.

Clarke and his first wife Kyly share one child together, daughter Kelsey-Lee.

The former couple went to school together at Sydney’s Westfields Sports High, but didn’t start dating until many years later, after Clarke’s engagement with Lara Worthington was broken off in 2010.

Clarke represented Australia in 115 Test matches and 245 ODIs after making his international debut in 2003.

The right-hander scored 8643 Test runs, including 28 centuries and a career-best of 329 not out against India at the SCG in 2012.

He captained Australia during the unforgettable 2013/14 Ashes whitewash and the triumphant 2015 World Cup campaign.
