Now Queensland’s football clubs and managers are focused on rebuilding, retaining and signing the players they need to push for promotion and premierships.

NPL MEN

Gold Coast Knights FC

Emilio Martinez - Eastern Suburbs FC A creative midfield player with an eye for a key pass, Martinez heads south from East Brisbane to be Scott McDonald’s first addition to his 2023 treble winning outfit.

Zander Guy – Avondale FC Zander Guy returns to the Gold Coast after spending time in NPL Victoria with 2023 Champions and Premiers Avondale FC. The former Gold Coast United forward bagged 10 goals and 4 assists last season and adds even more firepower to a Gold Coast Knights team looking to repeat their treble heroics from last season

Joel Russell – Surfers Paradise Apollo The FQPL 1 Golden Boot winner and 2023 FQPL 1 Men’s Young Player of the Year Nominee heads to Gold Coast Knights off the back of a breakthrough season with Surfers Paradise Apollo FC. A lethal forward blessed with pace and the ability to finish with both feet, Russell looks to be a top signing for Knights.

Sam Klein – Brisbane Roar Youth Part of the 2022 Australian U20 team, Klein is a top addition to Knights, having spent the last 5 years in the Brisbane Roar Academy, where he made his senior A League debut in 2022.

Keitatsu Kojima – Ococias Kyoto Japanese fullback Keitatsu Kojima joins Gold Coast Knights from Kansai Soccer League side Ococias Kyoto, bringing professionalism and experience to the Knights despite his young age.

Aaron Reardon – Brisbane Roar A key part of the 2023 Gold Coast Knights treble winning season, Reardon returns from a short spell at the Brisbane Roar and will look to pick back up from where he left off with Knights in 2024!

Trent Millard – Central Coast Mariners A versatile player capable of playing at full back and in midfield, Millard was one of the standout players for the Brisbane Roar Youth before making a big move to Central Coast Mariners last season. Millard returns to Queensland and the NPL ready to make his mark on senior football.

Brisbane City FC

Karl Pechter - Adelaide Arriving from the Adelaide NPL, Pechter brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Brisbane City. A strong and passionate keeper, Pechter will look to assert himself on the NPL Queensland in 2024.

Matt Richardson - Moreton Bay United Making the move from Moreton Bay United, Richardson was a key member of the backline that stormed to the 2023 NPL Men’s Grand Final

James Meredith – Macarthur FC The former Socceroo has come out of retirement to pull on the sky blue of Brisbane City for the 2024 NPL season. The former Macarthur, Perth Glory, Millwall, Bradford City, Shrewsbury and Chesterfield professional will bring a wealth of experience to the City squad. Predominantly a left back, Meredith is a versatile player who can be deployed in both centre midfield or centre back.

Malakai Love-Semira – Peninsula Power A rapid forward with bags of potential, Love-Semira joins City after a spell at Peninsula Power, where he captured national attention with terrific performances in the Australia Cup.

Jesse Rigby – Lions FC A former crowd favorite at Brisbane City, Rigby heads back to Newmarket after succesful stints with Peninsula Power and Lions FC. An experienced NPL midfielder with an eye for the extraordinary as well as defensive steel, Rigby will bring plenty of quality to City in 2024.

Moreton City Excelsior FC

Seita Murai – FC Imabari (Japan) A creative attacking player, Seita spent time with FQ South Coast Premiers Robina City after previous stints with Japanese 3rd Division side FC Imbari having also played at Tokyo Verdy Academy in the Japanese second division.

Hiroumi Ikeda – Brew Kashima (Japan) A versatile defender, Hiroumi heads to Wolter Park from Japanese side Brew Kashima. Having spent time in the J League Academy and University System in Japan, Hiroumi is a strong, dynamic, and technically proficient defender who will add further quality at the back to Moreton City in 2024.

Jack McInally – Eastern Suburbs One of the shining lights in a disappointing 2023 NPL Men campaign for Eastern Suburbs, Jack McInally heads North to Wolter Park to add quality in depth for Cameron Millar at the back.

Nathan Foster – Marconi Stallions (NSW) After playing for Moreton Bay United in 2022, Nathan Foster returns to Wolter Park from New South Wales NPL powerhouse Marconi Stallions in 2024, and will looking to make an impact on the NPL Queensland.

Zach Kierpal – Olympic FC Another Moreton Bay Academy graduate, Zach Kierpal returns to Moreton City with plenty of NPL Queensland experience under his belt. A forward blessed with natural goalscoring ability and an explosive turn of pace, Kierpal will look to form a lethal partnership with retuning star Marquez Walters up top this coming season.

Lachlan Sayers – Olympic FC A talented midfielder with a handy knack of scoring important goals, Sayers has built a reputation as one of the top midfielders in the Queensland NPL and will add bags of quality at both ends of the pitch to Moreton City’s impressive squad.

Gold Coast United

Fraser Hills - Unknown

Dylan Barwick – Surfers Paradise Apollo

Teddy Watson – Surfers Paradise Apollo

Jack Pirone – Surfers Paradise Apollo

Returning from Surfers Paradise Apollo, Jack is a hardworking left winger with plenty of skill and a passion for taking on defenders. Jack is a former GCU Academy player, who represented Australia at the 2019 AFF U/15 Championships.

Chris Lucas – Oakleigh Cannons

A prolific goal scorer with an incredible track record in NPL competitions in both Queensland and Victoria, Chris is an ‘original’ Gold Coast United player who played in the A-League Youth competition back in 2012 and made his A-League debut against Sydney FC the same year. Chris returns to the Coast from four seasons with Oakleigh Cannons in the Victorian NPL.

Zahi Addis – Gold Coast Knights Returning to Gold Coast United, Addis spent time with the Roar Youth and was part of the Gold Coast Knights famous treble winning squad last season. A player with electrifying speed and skill, Addis will add quality in wide areas to a United outfit who now look stacked with quality options going forwards.

Xavier Pratt – Hamilton Wanderers (NZ) A player lovingly nicknamed ‘The Fridge’, Pratt is a player with vast experience having played over 150 games for Hamilton Wanderers FC in New Zealand. A technically gifted athlete, and scorer of spectacular goals, Pratt brings strength, intelligence and versatility to the GCU midfield.

Zac Galea – Victorian NPL

Returning to Gold Coast United after a stint in the Victorian NPL, the 19-year-old goalkeeper will look to learn from goalkeeping coach Fernando Alves and push for a starting place this season.

Brian Sutomo – Eastern Suburbs

A midfield signing who boasts an impressive passing range, with the ability to create something out of nothing, Sutomo brings flair and creativity to the Gold Coast United Squad in 2024.

Futa Kubo – Friends University Kansas (USA)

A dynamic player comfortable playing in both midfield and defence, Kubo plied his trade for Southside Comets in Cairns before heading to the United States to chase his professional football dream.

Daniel Dias – Mt Druitt Town

A midfielder with plenty of skill and craft, Daniel Dias joins Gold Coast United after several productive years in the NSW NPL with Sydney Olympic and most recently Mt Druitt Town.

Christian Mladenis – Gold Coast Knights

The top goalscorer in the NPL U23’s last season with 18 goals, Mladenis has turned heads at youth level and swaps Knights for United in the search of first team football.

Lions FC

Alex Fiechtner – Oakleigh Cannons The 2022 NPL Queensland Golden Boot winner returns to Queensland and Lions for the 2024 season after spending a year down south in the NPL Victoria competition. A forward blessed with pace and a pechance for the spectacular, Fiechtner is a statement signing for a Lions FC side looking to compete again at the top of the NPL Queensland competition.

Jack Skinner – Redlands United One of the top performers in the NPL Queensland in 2023 with Redlands United, Skinner is a fast and skillful winger capable of also playing in the midfield.

Luke Broderick – Brisbane Strikers Earmarking himself as one of Queensland’s top talents, the FQPL 1 Young Player of the Year will be looking to form a fearsome partnership with NPL Icon’s Andy Pengelley and Alex Fiechtner up top.

Alwin Komolong - Lae City FC (Papua New Guinea) The current Papua New Guinea captain joins the Lions backline for 2024, bringing an elite level of experience to the NPL. Komolong has played NCAA Div 1 at North Kentucky Uni, followed by a stint in Germany at Fortuna Koln in Bundesliga 3.

James Enticknap – Sunshine Coast Wanderers Reurning to Brisbane after a succesful stint at the Sunshine Coast Wanderers, Enticknap is a versatile midfielder with a terrific work rate and eye for goal. A technically superb, physically strong, midfielder, Enticknap will make a big impact for Lions in 2024.

Peninsula Power

Yuta Hirayama – Chiangmai FC (Thailand)

Josh Phelps - Melbourne Knights

Ken Akamatsu – Miramar Rangers (New Zealand)

A former Japan youth international, Akamatsu has played in the US with New Mexico United and Swedenwith Ljungskile SK. He comes to the club following a short stint in New Zealand where his time was cut short by injury.

Jheison Macuace - Brisbane City A modern day NPL Queensland Icon, Jheison Macuace joins his 7th NPL Queensland club as he heads north to Peninsula Power for the 2024 season. The Columbian goal scoring machine who has scored over 100 NPL Queensland goals across 10 years, Macuace looks like he is showing no signs of slowing down infront his goal ahead of a big 2024.

Ivan Ozzi - Lions FC A skillful winger, Ozzi impressed for Lions in 2023, notably scoring a crucial goal in their Australia Cup clash against Redlands United.

Charlie Parkin - Moreton City Excelsior The 2023 Football Queensland Youth Player of the Year, Parkin is a modern defender with excellent attributes on and off the ball and is one to keep an eye on in the future.

Dredon Kelly – Broadbeach United

Canadian Dredon Kelly joins Rochedale for the 2024 NPL season after a successful 2023 season at Broadbeach United as they Claimed the Macca’s FQPL 2 Premiership. Nominated for the 2023 FQPL2 Player of the Year and selected in the FQPL2 Team of the Season, Dredon is a defender comfortable on the ball an assured presence on the pitch.

Morgan Saunders – Surfers Paradise Apollo The FQPL 1 Men’s player of the season has a new home in 2024. Star forward Morgan Saunders heads north to join Rochedale Rovers for the 2024 NPL Men’s season. A tall forward with quick feet and a sharp eye for goal, Saunders returns to the NPL after having previously spent time at Eastern Suburbs and will be looking to fill the void left by NPL Icon Marek Madle up top for the Rovers at Underwood Park.

Patrick Theodore – Bayside United A former Brisbane Roar Youth star, Patrick Theodore takes the massive jump up to the NPL after being one of the standout players in the lower FQPL divisions for a number of years. Amassing plenty of goals for Bayside in their promotion season, Theodore will be looking to show what he can do at the top level in 2024.

Brad Scott – Surfers Paradise Apollo Joining his former teammate Morgan Saunders heading up the M1, Brad Scott returns to underwood park with plenty of experience under his belt from Surfers Paradise’s 2023 Premiership winning season

Cooper Nichols – Lions FC A Lions FC youth product, Nichols heads east to Rochedale to show what he can do at first team level for Rochedale in 2024

Redlands United

Oohyun Park – Southside Eagles

Oohyun Park joins Redlands United from Macca’s FQPL 1 outfit Southside Eagles. Scoring 9 goals in 2023,

Park looks ready to step up to NPL level with Redlands.

Dylan Mobbs – Kendal Town (England) - At just 20, Mobbs is a competitive and energetic striker. A Brisbane City and Venezia (Italy) graduate, he boasts an impressive football CV as he returns to Queensland following a stint with Kendal Town in the UK.

Matt Lugo – Moreton Bay United One of the standout keepers in the 2023 NPL season, Matt Lugo’s reflexes were a key cog in the wheel for Cameron Millars side as they finished runners up in the league and made it to the NPL final. Wynnum Wolves

Naoki Maeda – Moreton City Excelsior (Formerly Moreton Bay United)

Luke Francis – Bridge Athletic (England) Having come through the Sheffield Wednesday system in his junior footballing years, Luke has played for a number of clubs in England’s north including Handsworth, Belper Town, Parramore Sports FC, and Worsborough Bridge Athletic in the Northern Counties Football League.

Liam Saba – Sydney Olympic Hailing from the western suburbs of Sydney, Saba has represented both Blacktown Spartans and then Sydney Olympic in the NSW NPL competition at Under 23s level.

Russell Parker – St George Willawong A previous Wolves player, Parker has spent time at Capalaba in the NPL and with St George Willawongs FQPL 2 promotion team last season. A hardworking defender, parker will bring grit and determination as well as NPL experience to the Wolves backline.

Jack Parker – Brisbane Strikers A dynamic attacking fullback, Neumann heads to Wolves looking for a breakout season in the NPL

Zach Maltby – North Sunshine Eagles Originally a Wynnum Wolves junior, Maltby is an exciting forward capable of beating a man and scoring a spectacular goal. Previously starring for Lions in the NPL, Maltby returns to Queensland after a period in Victoria. Set to be a dependable force for Graham Fyfe in attack this year, Maltbys previous NPL experience will be invaluable as Wynnum steps into the men’s top-flight for the very first time

NPL WOMEN

Eastern Suburbs FC

Nyah Marsden – Olympic FC An player who has been in both the Lions FC and Olympic FC FQ Academy systems, Marsden joins the 2023 NPL Grand Final Champions looking for gametime with one of the leagues best young coaches.

Kaitlin McCormack – FQ Academy QAS A standout performer for the FQ Academy QAS, Kaitlin was a member of Queenslands winning 2022 National Youth Championships team and the future Matildas program. Shortlisted for the QLD squad for the 2023 battle of the states, the young goalkeeper is one to watch for the future.

Kylah Hanson – Capalaba FC One of Queensland’s best attacking prospects, Hanson leaves Capalaba after a terrific 2023 season to add another dimension up top for Eastern Suburbs in 2024. Having made her NPL debut at just 15, Hanson is also a prodigious Futsal and Indoor cricketer.

Lions FC

Samantha DiBien – Middle Tennessee State University An experienced and versatile midfielder, American Samantha DiBien is a strong playmaker who looks to make key passes to pierce the defence.

Tonia-Marie Rantucci – Olympic FC A player blessed with the ability to play anywhere across the midfield and front three, the Cairns product who spent last season at Olympic will be looking to make her mark on a Lions squad out for revenge in 2024.

Tupelo’ Dugan - Wellington Phoenix Youth A New Zealand Under 20 international, Tui represents a real coup for Lions, offering Rob Askews squad another is a versatile midfielder who can play on both wings.

Jessie Rasschaert – Brisbane Roar A former A-League Women’s stalwart for Canberra United and the Brisbane Roar, Rasschaert comes out of retirement to bring vast experience and leadership to Lions defence.

Mackenzie Nielsen - FQ Academy QAS A strong tackling centre half with plenty of composure on the ball, Nielsen looks set to be yet another success story from the FQ Academy QAS program.

Chelsea Fairbairn – FQ Academy QAS A left back blessed with plenty of pace, Fairbairn broke out for the FQ Academy QAS side last season and will add another dmiension to Lions in 2024.

Libby Cybulski – Peninsula Power A commanding presence at the back, Cybulski was one of the standout performers for one of last years best defensive outfits. Blessed with pace and strength, Cybulski looks to set the tone of play from the back and brings vital NPL experience to a new look Lions backline.

Gold Coast United

Dee Quirk – Palm Beach Dee Quirk is back in the yellow and blue of Gold Coast United for 2024. A prolific goalscorer with plenty of positive leadership qualities, Quirk will add firepower to a side that is looking to go one better than their 2023 Grand Final defeat.

Peninsula Power

Anna Hirakawa – Virginia United A standout player for Virginia United in 2023, Japanese star Anna Hirakawa heads north to Peninsula Power to add firepower and quality to Mick Gallo’s squad. Having spent much of her career playing semi-professionally in the Nadeshiko League in Japan, Hirakawa lit up the FQPL for Virginia last season in what was her first year in Australia.

Sophia Cuba – Olympic FC A formidable central defender, Cuba makes the move north from Olympic to Power to add depth and quality to the Powers backline.

Ashlee Hummels – Brisbane City A graduate of the winning 2022 National Youth Championships Queensland side, Hummels moves from 2023 Invincibles Brisbane City to link up with Mick Gallo at Peninsula Power in 2024.

Jolianne Cruz – Mitchelton FC A player with plenty of NPL experience having turned out for Moreton Bay, the FQ Academy QAS and Mitchelton FC, winger Jolianne Cruz heads to Power looking to take her game to the next level.

Mitchelton FC

Bree Wallace – Eastern Suburbs FC An experienced NPL level centreback, Bree brings six years of NPL experience, making the move to the Mustangs from reigning NPL champions, Eastern Suburbs.

Victoria Franklin - Southern Methodist University (USA) Having played in the NPL previously for powerhouse Lions FC before moving to the United States, Franklin will look to hit the ground running in her return to Queensland.

Heidi Palmer – The Gap Heidi brings both experience and flexibility to Mitchelton with her ability to play in any position along the defensive line and will look to cement her place in the starting XI come the end of the season.

Lucy Major – SWQ Thunder One of the standout players for SWQ Thunder as they stormed to the FQPL 1 Grand Final last season, Lucys tactical discipline and passing ability will be a real asset to Mitcheltons midfield in 2024.

Kallie Cowles – Lions FC A massive coup for Mitchy in 2024, the Canadian joins Mitchelton after being part of Lions FC’s dominant NPL team. A player with a wealth of top-level experience and the flexibility to play anywhere across the back line, Cowles represents a massive statement for Mitchelton heading into 2024.

Souths United

Abbey Lloyd (SWQ Thunder)

Sarah Bonifant (Lions FC): Sarah Bonifant joins Souths United from Lions FC after a breakout season in the first team. A young defender who left her mark on the Kappa Women’s Super Cup in 2023, Souths will hope Bonifant can add some defensive quality at the back in 2024.

Eliza Evans - Canberra United Academy A Canberra United academy product Evans has been a regular in the ACT NYC & NTC teams as well as representing the ACT U18s school girls teams.

Emily McDougall - Fraser Flames

A part of the 2023 Fraser Flames team that were undefeated in the Wide Bay FQPL competition, Emily and her sister Chloe head south to join Souths United in the NPL

Chloe McDougall - Fraser Flames

Joining her sister heading south to join the Souths United NPL program, Chloe was an integral part of the 2023 Fraser Flames outfit that went undefeated in the Wide Bay FQPL,

Emma Sartor – North Brisbane FC

Joining from North Brisbane FC after a standout season in the Macca’s FQPL 2 competition, Sartor will look to make an impact as she steps up to the NPL for 2024.

Teagan Lynch – Annerley FC Starring for Annerley in the FQPL 2 competition in 2023, Lynch makes the short move to Olympic FC for 2024.

Eva Heron – Eastern Suburbs A star performer in the midfield for the Eastern Suburbs U23 side last season, Heron heads west to Olympic looking to make her mark in the NPL in 2024

FQPL 1 MEN

Brisbane Strikers

Jayke Cuschieri – Eastern Suburbs

Cuschieri joins Strikers from Eastern Suburbs. A vastly experienced player at NPL level, Cuschieri won the state title during his time at Moreton Bay United.

Luke Plummer – Brisbane City

Plummer is an experienced centre back who has previously starred for Brisbane City, Peninsula Power, Olympic FC, and Moreton Bay winning multiple major trophies along a fantastic career so far.

Matt Thurtell – Brisbane City

The experienced front man has a proven track record in the both the Queensland and Victorian NPL, With a 100+ goals for Strikers club during his previous spell, Thurtell returns to Perry Park after eight years away.

Scot Coulson – AC Carina

The 28-year-old returns to his old club having starred for Brisbane City, Easts, Rochedale, and Capalaba.

Connor Booth – Olympic FC

A technical midfielder who has starred for Olympic, Peninsula Power and Capalaba, Booth brings quality and experience to the Strikers midfield in 2024

Cameron Nairn – Caboolture Sports FC

An agile forward, Nairn was Caboolture Sports FC’s player of the year for the last two seasons. Having previously won the Sunshine Coast Premier League Player of the Year and Golden Boot, Nairn will look to take the next step up front for the Strikers

Sam Cronin – Peninsula Power

The Former Roar Youth, Olympic and Peninsula Power man will bring plenty of experience to the power. The former two-time NPL Queensland winner brings power and long-range shooting to the Strikers squad.

Adam Edgar – Wynnum Wolves

The frontman boasts an impressive resume of former clubs including Wolves FC, Brisbane City, Olympic FC, Logan, and Mitchelton. A proven goal scorer, Edgar also spent time in the Huddersfield Town and Nike Academies as a junior.

Jerrard Tyson – Sunshine Coast Fire New Strikers goalkeeper Jerrard Tyson has represented several A-League clubs as well as winning an Australian Cup title with Melbourne Victory.

Dan Champness – Moreton Bay United Already a proven performer at NPL level, Champness is a fleet footed winger who thrives in 1v1 situations. The younger brother of fully fledged New Zealand international Joey Champness, Dan will look to get the Strikers fans off their seats in 2024.

Jack Boxell – Pine Hills A key member of the Pine Hills backline in last seasons promotion to FQPL 2, Boxell is capable of playing at fullback and as a central defender. Boxell returns to his former club with plent of experience having played for Brisbane City, Capalaba and Palm Beach.

Jake McLean – Peninsula Power A highly decorated player at NPL level who will bring energy and quality to the middle of the park for the Strikers, McLean is one of many former Strikers alumni to return to the club for 2024. McLean memorably captained the strikers during its famous Australia Cup run in 2019 to the Semi Final, before moving on to Peninsula Power.

Adam Powell – Surfers Paradise Apollo

Adam Powell returns to Broadbeach after a sensational spell at Surfers Paradise, which he captained his side to the 2023 Premiership. Powell can slice open defences with his passing and brings a level of experience to the squad which will see them push for promotion.

Will Peck – Surfers Paradise Apollo

Another member of the successful Surfers Paradise Apollo Premiership squad from 2023, Peck also won the 2022 NPL Grand Final with Gold Coast Knights. Boasting a footballing resume which also includes a stint in England, Will is a solid defender with a magnificent work ethic and will add quality to the Broadbeach backline.

Curtis Stollery – Gold Coast United

Curtis Stollery brings poise and experience to Broadbeach, after spending plenty of time in the NPL at Gold Coast Knights and recently Gold Coast United. Stollery was GCU’s leading goalscorer in the 2023 NPL season and is a statement signing from Leighton Speechley-Price.

Conor Smith – Gold Coast United English midfielder Conor Smith makes a big move from NPL side Gold Coast United to Broadbeach, with Leighton Speechley-Price making yet another statement signing ahead of his team’s first season in the FQPL 1 competition. A busy midfielder who is known for his passing ability, set piece delivery and workrate, Smith has featured heavily in NPL All Star squads and trophy winning teams throughout his impressive career.

Michael Moore – Gold Coast United Another youngster making the move from Gold Coast United, Michael is a technically sound tricky player with a big future ahead of him.

James Clasen - Magic United A product of the Gold Coast Knights Academy, the 20 year old goalkeeper heads to Broadbeach United after a productive season at Magic United in 2023.

Daniel Mitwali – NWS Spirit Former Syrian U19 international and no nonsense defender, Mitwali joins the Broadbeach backline for 2024. A player with a storied career, turning out for NWS Spirit FC, Altona Magic, St George Saints and Sutherland Sharks across the NSW and Victorian NPL and Logan Lightning in 2022. Mitwali has also played extensively overseas with Indonesian side Persiwa Wamena, German Bundesliga 3 side SV Wehen Wiesbaden and Romanian side FC Metaloglobus Bucureşti.

Capalaba FC

Adoni Koulouris – Southside Eagles

Adoni is an exciting attacking player with plenty of speed and skills. Having previously spent time at Holland Park Hawks and Southside Eagles, Adoni is well versed in what’s required to lead the line in the Macca’s FQPL 1.

Chris Anderson – Mitchelton FC

Chris is a great leader at the back, a composed player with a great passing game, he will bolster the Bulldogs ranks in 2024.

Mark Ingerson – Western Pride

A solid defender and accomplished leader, Mark is an aerial threat in set-pieces and will be influential at both ends of the pitch.

Mitch Perkins – Eastern Suburbs A positive young goalkeeper who plays well with his Feet, Perkins’ signing will allow Hastings’ side to play out of defence and play further forward in attack, also bringing experience from his time at Eastern Suburbs in the NPL system.

Braith Beckett – Wynnum Wolves A defender blessed with great technique and plenty of footballing nous, Braith joins from Wynnum Wolves after also spending the last few years plying his trade in Japan.

Matthew Melville - Western Pride An experienced player who brings composure and defensive quality to the Easts back line, Melville’s leadership will be an invaluable asset for a side looking to bounce back after a disappointing relegation last season.

Marvin Brauweiler - Geelong Soccer Club A player with vast experience having plied his trade in the German Regional leagues, Brauweiler brings energy and quality as well as a vast depth of football knowledge to Easts.

Jackson Rossi - Rochedale Rovers Joining from NPL outfit Rochedale Rovers, Rossi is a strong all round midfielder with playmaking ability and top defensive qualities.

Logan Lightning

Matthew Schmidt – Gold Coast Knights A massive coup for Logan Lightning, former Brisbane Roar, Gold Coast City and Gold Coast Knights icon Matthew Schmidt returns to football with Logan Lightning. A two-time NPL Queensland Champion, Schmidt is one of the states finest fullbacks and will be a real asset to Lightning this season. Liam Goulding – Gold Coast United Another big signing for Logan Lightning, last year’s NPL TOTY defender Liam Goulding heads north to FQPL 1 outfit Logan Lightning for 2024. A former Lightning player, Goulding has an impressive football CV and brings plenty of topflight experience to Logan.

Moreton City Excelsior (FQPL 1)

Rhys Raymond – Eastern Suburbs A player with a high work rate and brilliant attitude, Rhys is a player that has been on the MCE radar for some time.

Kealan Crawford – Mitchelton FC A player blessed with explosive speed who excels in 1v1 situations, Kealan joins MCE off the back of a strong year at Mitchelton FC.

Ipswich FC

James Cuminao – Logan Lightning Ipswich FC have their first captain, bringing in 5-time NPL grand finalist James Cuminao to lead the backline at Briggs Road. The sigining of Cuminao is a real statement of intent from Garrett McDuling and will undoubtedly strengthen Ipswich in their first season after the Western Pride and Ipswich City Bulls merger.

St George Willawong

Danilo Kovacevic – Wynnum Wolves FC Part of the 2023 Wynnum Wolves squad who made the FQPL 1 Grand Final and gained promotion to the National Premier Leagues, the former Brisbane Roar Youth midfielder will be a big addition to Danny Gnidic’s squad for the upcoming season.

Amy Langworthy – Gold Coast United

Joining from NPL Grand Finalist Gold Coast United, Amy will bring quality and commitment to Broadbeach for the 2024 season.

Marthe Dagestad Ragnvaldsen – Unattached

Norwegian defender Marthe Dagestad Ragnvaldsen rejoins Broadbeach United for the 2024 season after spending a year out on the sidelines injured. Marthe is a technically superb defender, who reads the game well and has a strong competitive spirit.

Capalaba FC

Ubume Hyogo – Brisbane City

Ubume joins Capalaba from Brisbane City FC for the 2024 season. A dynamic forward with a wealth of experience playing across Australia and Japan, Hyogo will add a new dimension to Capalaba’s attack.

Emma Coskin – Souths United Joining from NPL Women’s side Souths United, Coskin is a dynamic attacking midfielder who brings on the ball skill, vision and passion for the game to the Bulldogs squad.

Lorena Maggio – Rochedale Rovers A player with a glittering career behind her, Lorena has had stints in the W League with Adelaide United as well as several NPL clubs in the last 10 years include Easts, Lions, Olympic, Brisbane City and recently Rochedale Rovers.

Emilie Adams – Mitchelton FC A statement signing for the recently promoted North Lakes, Adams was one of the standout players in Mitchelton’s NPL Women’s side last season. Adams heads down to FQPL 1 to North Lakes United to reunite with former coach Anthony Costa.

Ashleigh Gould – Grange Thistle A pacey winger with dazzling feet, Ash is a young player with a huge amount of potential and will look to show off her skills for North Lakes this season.
