Member schools include Lourdes Hill College, All Hallows School, Brigidine College, Loreto College, Mary Mackillop College, Mt Alvernia College, Mt St Michael’s College, Our Lady’s College, San Sisto College, St John Fisher College, St Mary’s College, St Rita’s College, Stuartholme School.

WATER POLO CANCELLED

In a Facebook notification from one of the schools, it was stated: “Please be advised that all CaSSSA sport fixtures and sport training for this Term have been cancelled. Further information will follow.

“This includes all AFL, Volleyball, Touch and Indoor Cricket and Tennis.’’

“Further information about CaSSSA Sport and Representative Sport fixtures will follow.’’

UNDER 17 AND 19 NETBALL REP CARNIVAL CALLED OFF

The decision comes after one of the association’s blue ribbon sporting events, the swimming carnival, was won by the All Hallows’ School, was staged last week minus bus loads of supporters from the respective schools who usually pack the grandstand.

AIC Executive Officer Kerri Stariha said the organisation was taking advice from Education Queensland, Queensland Health and “working closely with state governing bodies” before making a decision.
