For added context to the stat leaderboards, Barron River, Cassowary Coast, Mulgrave and Mareeba have played the least games (seven each), while Norths and Rovers have played the most (nine each).
Team of the mid-season
1. Aidan Firman (Norths)

The all-rounder has also been exceptional on the flip side of the innings, racking up eight wickets.

4. Tom Boorman (Atherton)
A serious contender for the league best and fairest.
Tom Boorman has dominated on both sides of the innings as the leading wicket-taker of the competition (17 wickets), while racking up the second most runs to date (353 runs).
The silky slasher has prevented a number of early batting collapses, showing his poise and class batting at fourth in the order.
The Atherton captain claimed a stunning late innings hat-trick against Cassowary Coast in round seven at Cazalys Stadium.
5. Adam Trewin (Barron River)
The standout batsman for Barron River again this season.
Top order batsman Adam Trewin has racked up 206 runs at a batting average of 34.3.
Known to punish the best bowling brigades in the competition.
Trewin put on a remarkable performance against a loaded Rovers side in round eight, scoring 68 runs and leading his side to victory on the final wicket at the death of the match.
6. Seth McGinty (Rovers)
18-year old Seth McGinty continues to raise his game season after season.
Well accustomed to the first grade competition after making his debut at 14, the bowling all-rounder uses his height and power to hit the deck hard, earning 11 wickets at a 3 economy rate.
Despite playing limited amount of innings this season as a result of various representative commitments, managed a best bowling of 5-17 against Mareeba in round six.
7. Chris Adams (WK) (Atherton)

In addition to his batting, he has proven to be a safe pair of hands behind the stumps, taking seven catches this season. He narrowly edged out Mareeba wicketkeeper Brendan Falvo.
8. Ben McCartney (Norths)
Ben McCartney has been a key pillar in Norths strong 6-2 winning record to start the season.
The right arm gun spinner has racked up 10 wickets with the most maidens in the league (11).
Far from an expensive bowler, the Fusion rep’s economy rate sits on three runs per over.
Usually batting in the tail-end in prior seasons, he has moved up to middle in the order after a number of handy innings, currently averaging 35.8 runs this campaign.
Fellow Norths’ spinner Elliot Lord has also had a strong season in his debut in the CFN comp.
9. Brenton Edwards (Rovers)
Brenton Edwards remains one of the most feared bowlers to face in the Far North.
The demon paceman is leaving bruises on top order batsman yet again this season, while racking up 15 wickets, second most maidens in the league with 10 and a 3.5 economy rate.
A veteran of the competition.

Edwards was recently selected for the Australia “A” over-40s T20 side, set to compete in the upcoming World Series Cup in Brisbane.
10. William Robertson (Mulgrave)
Another experienced spinner, the Mulgrave merchant has delivered a number of classy performances despite playing in limited matches.
In William Robertson’s five games, he has taken 11 wickets at a 3.4 economy rate, with the left-arm turner piercing his way past some of the region’s finest batsmen.
He edges out young gun teammates Brody Zanetich and Aidan Beach, who have both played brilliant cricket this season.
11. Robert Thresher (Rovers)
Another threat in the Rovers’ bowling brigade, Robert Thresher is second in the competition for wickets taken (15), with the medium-pace bowler having a consistent campaign to date. Tough to put away, Thresher bowls tight lines and forces opposition batsmen to play uncomfortable shots.
He had a standout performance against Cassowary Coast in round four, taking 3-2 from four overs, including two maidens.
