2025 Hart Premier Netball League live stream: Titans v Pulse, Bull Sharks v Thunder, Titans v Tigers, Pulse v Cougars, Round 11 and 12

Heavyweights Kedron-Wavell Cougars and Gold Coast Titans have taken the points again but is there room for improvement? Watch the Round 12 double header in full REPLAY.

It took three quarters for the Gold Coast Titans to shake off a persistent Carina Tigers, as they made it back-to-back wins to distance themselves from their recent minor form slump.

Despite not operating at their best, they accelerated away in the final quarter (24-10) for a comfortable 68-49 result at Nissan Arena on Sunday.

The performance was similar to that of their 59-38 victory over bottom-of-the-table Moreton Bay the previous week, where they only took control in the back half.

Next week they come up against Brisbane South Wildcats, another team in the second half of table as they look to further restore confidence with finals just three weeks away.

Heavyweights Kedron-Wavell Cougars are back on top of the table after overcoming the Moreton Bay Pulse 70-53.

While it wasn’t the thumping most probably expected, the win leaves the Cougars half a game and percentage clear at the top.

One of those teams two points adrift will be their next opponent at home, the Sunshine Coast Thunder, in what shapes as a huge contest with only two more regular rounds remaining.

Ahead 38-23 at halftime, it was pretty second gear thereafter for the Cougars as they cruised to the 17-goal victory.

Nalani Makunde was her usual brilliant self with 57 goals at 93.44 per cent, but it was an all-round team effort, particularly in defence, that ensured it was a relatively pain-free night.

Pulse’s Ella Fitzgerald did her best to keep the crowd entertained, sinking 10 super shots as she finished with 36 goals in a strong performance.

Moreton Bay next come up against the Carina Tigers, in what shapes as the new franchise’s best chance to get that elusive first win.

PREVIEW

Gold Coast ultimately did it comfortably against Moreton Bay on Saturday night, romping to a 20-plus goal victory off the back of a big second half.

The Titans trailed by one goal at the first change, and led by only two at the main break.

But their attack kicked into gear in the third term as they outscored the Pulse 20-11, before pressing their advantage further in the final term.

Josie Bingham and Roxanne Rhind combined well inside the shooting circle, sharing an even portion of the spoils with 30 and 27 goals respectively as the Titans won 59-38.

Later on in proceedings it was Sunshine Coast who got the best of Bond University, winning a high scoring encounter 77-71.

The Bull Sharks found themselves in a seven-goal hole in the first term, before clawing their way back in the second to trail 40-38.

A pair of huge efforts in the third and fourth term were enough to get them over the line and secure the premiership points.

There will be more Sapphire league action tomorrow with another double header set for a 4pm start.

The Titans will be back on court playing the Carina Leagues Club Tigers, and later on Moreton Bay will take on Kedron-Wavell Cougars.

The Sunshine Coast Thunder are right where they want to be before they mount their HART Premier Netball League Sapphire division finals charge.

The Northern side are flying under the radar after stringing together six wins, three losses and a 63-all draw against the Gold Coast Titans last round.

Awaiting them in round 11 and 12 will arguably be their biggest test of the regular season when they meet top of the table Bond University at 6pm on Saturday, followed by defending champions Ipswich Jets at home on 3pm Sunday.

The Thunder’s Saturday clash will be played after the Gold Coast Titans and Moreton Bay Pulse from 4pm while Sunday’s action includes Gold Coast Titans against Carina Tigers from 4pm, plus Moreton Bay Pulse and Kedron-Wavell Cougars from 6pm.

All four mouth-watering matches will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV.

With just two wins separating first and fifth on the ladder, Thunder head coach Simone Nalatu said her side had to remain focused.

“After the bulk of the team returned from Super Netball reserves duties, it’s been great to focus on Thunder and the HPNL series,” she said.

“Our recent form is a reflection of that, but there’s lots of positivity and intent to finish off the season strongly.

“Our season has been building and gaining momentum, it’s now time to consolidate this as we are entering into the business end of the season.”

The Thunder have made their home ground advantage count this season with four wins, a draw and one loss through the opening 10 rounds.

“The home games have been a game changer for our club

“Not having to drive down the Bruce Highway every Sunday is a huge benefit and having home games allows many of our friends and family and Sunny Coast netball community to watch some quality netball in their own backyard.”

Nalatu said her side were excited to test themselves against the competition leaders.

“It’s going to be a huge match for us, Bond have set the benchmark for the rest of us to chase,” she said.

“We are looking forward to it, but are under no illusions on how tough it will be for us.

“Our youngsters Jada Delaney and Baylee Boyd have been in great form as well as Bri Martyn who is finding great form after gradually returning from her ACL injury.”
