His twin brother Natu plays pivot or No.13, while Ezra is directing the traffic from hooker.

A Harold Matthews selection for Parramatta, Leota is a smokey to have a massive season and as a bonus scored a try in round one against Caloundra SHS.

Malakye Blow (Caloundra SHS)

He has shown plenty of character after being overlooked for the Sunshine Coast Falcons Meninga Cup squad, and then not making the Sunshine Coast representative side. But he was a tough kid who coach Toby Poole rated highly. “He is under the radar and he will attract of lot interest from a lot of people during the Langer.’’ Blow, who is originally from Murgon, plays second row

Kaleb Smth (PBC SHS)

A South Coast representative who can play hooker, No.13 or even in the halves, Smith is a versatile squad member who flies a little under the radar. He had a strong pre-season while Joshua Donovan and Callam Bowles, an outside back who trains hard, is a flying under the radar type.

TITANS SIGN STUDENT FROM WAVELL SHS

Lex Maliko (Wavell SHS)

Moreton Bay Raiders and Redcliffe Meninga Cup squad member Maliko was quietly sailing under the radar as a barnstorming forward with untapped potential.

With a big frame and good footwork, the Wavell SHS senior has shown up in pre-season and across the opening rounds what he is made of and is a great squad member.

Watch for the classy left edge centre to go well in his first full Langer Trophy season.

Injuries have hindered his last two years of school footy, but he is healthy and raring this year.

Wavy haired right centre is another player of note who won the Langer Reserves premiership with Ipswich last season.

Logan Hudson (Redcliffe SHS)

Recently signed by the Dolphins academy talent scouts, Hudson is a local junior who was a member of the Redcliffe under-17 Connell Cup premiership winning side. “He has been in our program for a long, long time,’’ said Redcliffe SHS head of rugby league Jay Wilkinson. “He is starting to get some accolades and is just a hard worker who will get a bigger role with our side.’’

Benson Tau (Marsden SHS)

The former Queensland 15s winger was a big body with plenty of experience who knows the way to the tryline.

Also the Marsden SHS interchange player Benji Quinlan has made an impact roaring off the bench and is someone who was probably not on the radar too much prior to the start of the season.

Anton Whaiapu (Keebra Park SHS)

The Keebra Park edge forward and captain will be a calm and composed leader who is ready for a big season.

“He didn’t play as many Meninga Cup games as he would have liked, and he is doing everything right at school. “The other boys look up to him as well,’’ said coach Peter Norman.
