Brisbane State High have kept the receipts and are now cashing the cheques on the eve of the Basketball Australia Schools Championships play-offs.
The unheralded team coming into the tournament, Char Notoa’s side will enter the finals undefeated and outright leaders of Pool B.
The Brisbane girls were unstoppable on a big second day of the tournament, knocking off rivals Caulfield Grammar by 40 points, before creating a major stir with an upset win over Sunshine State rivals John Paul College.

In an incredible team performance, six players including their entire starting five, finished in double digits for scoring while star big Sharni Reisinger led the way with 19 points shooting at an incredible 90 per cent from the floor.
Townsville Fire academy player Prasayus Notoa finished with 17 points, 12 assists and five steals in an impressive double-double.

The win capped off a big day of action on the Show Court at Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre with Berwick College pulling off a stunning buzzer beater win over Lake Ginninderra College, while Rowville Secondary College continued its powerful start to the tournament.
Tasmanian school Don College also enjoyed a historic first win for the tournament, beating NSW rivals St Gregory’s College 95-87.

Immanuel College will have to work twice as hard to have an impact on a massive second day of the Basketball Australia Schools Championships.
The girls from South Australia were given a tough introduction to the Championship division on day one against NSW giants Barker College.
But their tournament doesn’t get any easier with clashes against reigning champions Rowville Secondary College and last year’s bronze medallists Marsden State High on the horizon.

Immanuel and Rowville will open up a big second day’s action on the Show Court, with six games back-to-back from the Championship division exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV.
Fresh off being the century up in their opening match of the tournament, John Paul College will also return to action on the show court, closing out the day in an all-Queensland showdown against fellow day one winners Brisbane State High.
Victorian champions Berwick College will clash with Lake Ginninderra College, while St Gregory’s College and Don College clash in the two boys Championship matches on the court.
Replays for every match on the Show Court today will be available to watch at the end of the day’s play.
Every match from the Championship and Under-20 Division 1 at the Basketball Australia Schools Championships will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV from December 2-6.
