The semi-finals have been run and won, with the Championship medal games decided after a series of shock results on Thursday.
Immanuel College and Brisbane State High have pulled off two shock upset semi-final triumphs to emerge into gold medal contention at the Basketball Australia Schools Championships.

Brisbane State High, who have easily been the form team of the Championship women’s tournament, ended Rowville Secondary College’s quest for back-to-back national titles with a 71-69 semi-final win on Thursday.
Representative trio Alleah Hanson (25 points), Sharni Reiseinger (16 points, eight rebounds) and Prasayus Notoa (18 points, 12 rebounds) led from the front for the Sunshine State powerhouse as they triumphed in a two-point nailbiter.
Manuela Puoch, who will be in discussions for the women’s MVP award, was Rowville’s best with a 19-point, 12 rebound double-double in a losing effort.
Not to be upstaged in the upset stakes, South Australia’s Immanuel College turned the tables on unbeaten Sydneysiders Barker College in the semi-finals.
Having been beaten by Barker College 66-60 in their first game of the tournament, Immanuel exacted its revenge in the play-offs leading from whistle-to-whistle in a 70-54 win.
South Australian represntative Aspen Crase led the team with a 29-point, 12 rebound double-double, while Australian junior Sienna Lehmann was dishing the rock with authority to finish with 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
Trinity College also pulled off an upset of its own in the semi-final stage, with human highlight reel Deng Manyang and Aidan Schubert combining to dump Lake Ginninderra from the competition.

Schubert - who has largely been the unsung hero of the Trinity College rise to the gold medal match - was phenomenal in the four-point semi-final win with 22 points and 16 rebounds.
Manyang, who pulled out the dunk of the tournament, finished with 22 points while Shabani Kuyomba finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and five massive blocks.
Lake Ginninderra talisman Jacob Furphy did all he could to keep his side in the gold medal hunt with 34 points, 10 rebounds and six assists but was punsihed for his handling woes with 11 turnovers.
Trinity will face undefeated Victorian juggernaut Berwick College in the gold medal match after they survived a semi-final scare against an unsung Brisbane Boys College.
Berwick had to fight their way from behind on the scoreboard on multiple occasions in the clash, eventually squeezing past their rivals 91-88 in a nailbiter.
Berwick big man Truman Byrne finished with a match-winning double-double, with 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Phoenix Windsor and Heath McPherson both had 20 points each.

The semi-finals have arrived at the Basketball Australia Schools Championships.
The final four have been decided across the girls and boys Championships divisions, and now it’s time to leave it all on the line for a shot at the gold medal match.
The four semi-finals from the Championship division will be played back-to-back on the Show Court, after the Under-20 Div 1 men’s quarter-finals open the action from 9.30am.

The women’s semi-finals will kick start the sudden death showdowns, with the undefeated Brisbane State High taking on reigning champions Rowville.
Brisbane State High have a large chip on their shoulder after being written off pre-tournament, and have shown enough firepower to test the might of the Victorian champions.
In the other women’s semi-final unbeaten Sydneysiders Barker College will tackle South Australian contenders Immanuel College.
Berwick College’s unbeaten boys side will face a tough test against the flashy work of Brisbane Boys College, while in the other Championship men’s showdown Lake Ginninderra College goes head-to-head with Trinity College.
Replays for every match on the Show Court today will be available to watch at the end of the day’s play.
Every match from the Championship and Under-20 Division 1 at the Basketball Australia Schools Championships will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV from December 2-6.
