The club was given the green light to roar back into action earlier this month, after it was forced to shut down for 10 weeks due to COVID-19.

In its return, the club hosted its first Ride Parks Australia event.

CMC’s Mick Clarke said the new national program was designed to grow recreational activity by making it “much easier and less intimidating” for the public to get involved.

“It’s affordable, they don’t need a licence, they don’t need to be a member at a club, and they can get two hours of solid riding in a safe and controlled environment,” he said.

“We have advanced, intermediate and beginners sessions, and the best thing about it is the whole family can all come and ride together.”

The club will host its third RPA event tomorrow, with participants required to register through RiderNet to ensure no more than 20 people are at the track at any one time.

“It’s getting a little bit stronger and stronger each event,” Clarke said.

The program is aimed at riders aged four years and older who already know how to ride but have never been on a track and new riders with little to no riding experience.
