Brisbane Broncos superstar Reece Walsh has taken to social media to blast fans who shove a phone in his face and demand a photo.
Posting to Instagram, Walsh criticised fans who don’t use their manners when asking for a photo.
“If your (sic) over 10-years-old and especially if your (sic) a grown adult and you don’t use your manners when asking for a photo, don’t be shook when you get a no, we are people at the end of the day do just expect these things!!,” he posted.
“I love getting photos and chatting to everyone but if you just put a phone in my face and demand a photo I won’t wanna do it!!
“Please and thankyou (sic) goes a long way! Have a great day.”
Arguably the face of the NRL at the moment, the talented footballer is also a social media star with in excess of 500k followers on Instagram and 330k followers on TikTok.
The 21-year-old, who is a doting father of daughter Leila, has been praised for drawing a host of new fans to the sport, predominantly young women.
His immense popularity has also seen him become a massive target on the field, with Walsh taken out by Joseph Aukuso-Suaalii in the opening moments of the first game of the 2024 State of Origin Series last week.
After famously declaring that he wants to be a Bronco for life, it is understood that the Brisbane team are racing to secure a five-year $5.5m contract extension for the fullback.
