Fans brawl in stands while terrified toddler sits in tears

A small child sat in tears while a man and a woman swung wild punches at rival supporters in a vicious baseball brawl in America.

These LA Dodgers fans would have been feeling pretty chuffed about winning a wild punch-up with rival Houston Astros supporters — until they saw the terrified look on this little girl’s face.

The shocking scenes played out in the stands at a recent Major League Baseball game in the US which saw the Dodgers and Astros meet with fans in attendance for the first time since the 2017 World Series — a championship decider tainted by Houston’s alleged cheating.

The bad blood between the two teams has bubbled away but erupted in a wild brawl at Minute Maid Park in Houston this week when a Dodgers couple took on two male Astros fans right in their seats.

In viral videos taken by onlookers, a Dodgers fan, with his jersey open and bare chest out, threw consecutive punches to the head of an Astros fan. Then, the man’s presumed partner jumped in and started throwing punches herself.

While the melee played out, a frightened toddler sat right next to the action alone in her seat, before another fan swooped in to pick her up before later handing her back to the blonde woman who had been swinging punches in the fight.

The Dodgers fans landed repeated right hands to another man’s head.

The brawl broke out right next to a young girl.

The fans were later escorted from the stadium by security.
