The real racists in South Africa’s horror story

INNOCENT white farmers face persecution and genocide in South Africa, yet refugee activists reject them on the basis of their skin colour, writes Miranda Devine.

Letting in white South African farmers 'not racist or fascist': Dutton

IT’S pretty sad that Andrew Hastie and Jim Molan and other backbenchers felt they had to speak up in the Coalition party room meeting yesterday in defence of white South African farmers.

There’s nothing complicated about the issue, no matter how many times Greens wombles like Nick McKim call Peter Dutton a fascist and a racist.

It’s a no brainer. South Africa’s white farmers are being targeted, tortured, persecuted and are at risk of genocide. Their parliament has resolved to seize their land without compensation. The Opposition has directed its supporters to “cut the throat of whiteness.”

Australia has a record of helping people in such predicaments, and the white South Africans are being ignored by the usual refugee activists who are the real racists in this story.

Graphic proof of that was provided by former Israeli soldier and conservative political activist Avi Yemini, who went to a refugee rally in Melbourne on the weekend with a petition calling for the government to save the South African farmers.

He only secured two signatures, but the abuse he copped made for a disturbing YouTube video.

Yemini, who wears a Jewish “kippah” cap, was accused of being a “Nazi”.

When he told one elderly woman the farmers were being persecuted she replied, “No they’re not, that’s ridiculous”.

“They’ve got their own country and they stole the land anyway,” said another woman.

“I would prefer if the Rohingya [Muslims from Myanmar] came here first,” said another.

Another just laughed at him.

“These are people who will integrate easily, they speak the language they share similar cultures” pleaded Yemini to another woman. “That’s racist”, she retorted.

An elderly man yelled in his face when he asked him to sign the petition: “Drop dead, you’re a fascist. Drop dead you’re a fascist”.

Another man shouted: “I don’t want to talk to you man because you’re a f**ker”.

Yemini tried another angle with one middle-aged woman: “Last year we had a priority for Syrian refugees. Did you have a problem with that?”

“Absolutely” she said, “because they were Christian.”

Another woman told him that Peter Dutton: “is a racist and a fascist and a murderer”.

And the grand finale, another refugee activist refused to speak to him because he is Jewish.

“You’re Jewish, right?” she asked, as he pontted to the kippah on his head. “You’re Jewish, forget it.”

So much for tolerance of the left. These people have shown their true colours. As we always have suspected about their absurd hyperventilating about race, they are only projecting their own prejudices.

That’s why they march around calling other people racists, because they think that will distract us from their own racism. They are racists, and self loathing ones to boot.
