If you know Graceville, you probably recognised Cheryl Brockhurst’s house in the first episode of ABC crime drama Harrow, which returns for a new series on Sunday, May 12, from 8.40pm.
But if you missed it, don’t worry — more than 30 locations peppered across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Darling Downs feature in the much-anticipated second series of the show.
“They sent out a flyer in letterboxes and finally chose my house because they liked the cream paint,’’ Ms Brockhurst said.
“I had to take down the Christmas lights.
“It was just one scene, about three hours.

“I had to go down to the kindy where I work and when I got back they were already packing up so I didn’t get to see any of the action.’’
But Ms Brockhurst did get a booklet with detailed descriptions of each scene in episode 1, Green Amendment.
And she also was paid $2000, so sometimes crime really does pay.
With season one having aired on the traditionally slow Friday night line up, the first episode of the 10-part second season should attract a bigger audience in its new timeslot.
The season will pick up with protagonist Dr Daniel Harrow, played by Ioan Gruffudd, having been shot on his boat in the Brisbane River by an unknown assailant.
Filming on the series, from ABC Studios International and Brisbane production powerhouse Hoodlum, wrapped on April 12.
Jolene Anderson, of Rush and All Saints fame, has joined the cast for the show’s second season, playing fellow forensic pathologist Dr. Grace Molyneux
Returning to reprise their roles include Remy Hii, Darren Gilshenan, Ella Newton and Damien Garvey.
