Queensland schools representative fullback Hamish Muir will be a key player at the back for Villanova while diminutive flankers Hamish McKee and Paddy Cox are both quick to the ball and strong pilferers.
ST PATRICK’S COLLEGE
The player to watch will be Elliot Drinkall
MARIST COLLEGE ASHGROVE
Nick Baker will be one of the players to watch in 2020. In his second season in the Firsts, Baker captained the Queensland 16’s to last year’s national title – while winning the player of the tournament award for good measure. He leads by example. Exciting fullback Floyd Aubrey, with his ability to make something out of nothing, will be another good player alongside halfback Matt Mitchell. Centre Josh Billing will be a hard-running centre replicating the dominant centre pairing from 2019.
