“I have competed at many national and now international meets, but QG swimming has always been my favourite. The electric atmosphere that is created by our St Margaret’s community and all the QG teams is truly unique.

“There is nothing better than standing on the blocks, vying to score maximum points for your team, with your school friends and family in the grandstand cheering you on.’’

The relays at QGSSSA are always a highlight and one relay not to be missed is the Open Brockway Cup which will feature an MBC quartet made up of Francesca Chitukudza, Amani Alobaidli, Rosy Ryan and Grace Gerreyn who won the 16 years 4x50m Freestyle Relay at the last Brisbane Relay Championships.
