HOOKER

JAKE TURPIN 2.8% of teams

Priced at a nice discount after only playing 6 games last year. He averaged 55.2 in the five he completed. No reserve hooker in the bench suggest he could go the full 80mins making a 60PPG within reach.

Most popular: Connor Watson, Damien Cook, Jacob Liddle, Brandon Smith

FRONT ROW

JUNIOR PAULO 10%

The Eels bench suggests pre-season talk of big minutes for Paulo will eventuate. Last season’s top offloader played 53.9MPG at 1.2PPM in 2020, bump him up to 60MPG and he’ll score 72PPG.

ADDIN FONUA-BLAKE 7%

Big signing for the Warriors averaged 59.6PPG in 2020 and 66PPG in 2019. He’s got a ceiling few front-rowers can match with 142 last year and 111 and 103 the year before.

Most popular: Tino Fa’asuamaleaui, Stefan Utoikamanu, Ryan James, Josh Papalii

SECOND ROW

MITCH BARNETT 5%

The Knights backrower has beaten Tex Hoy to the goalkicking duties until Kalyn Ponga returns. He’s scored just over 60PPG the past two seasons. The goalkicking would take him over 70PPG and he’s already shown he can go large with four hundreds in the past.

NATHAN BROWN 3%

As mentioned with Paulo, The Eels bench works in the favour of Brown too. He’s coming off 65.5PPG in 63MPG in 2020. Could easily push past 70PPG this year.

LUCIANO LEILUA 7%

A mainstay of The Mastermind’s team in 2020. A very similar option to David Fifita, low base stats with a high ceiling, but much less fancied. Averaged 61.5PPG with a high of 135 and low of 37.

Most popular: Tino Fa’asuamaleaui, Jordan Riki, Ryan James, Jason Taumalolo

HALFBACK

JAMAL FOGARTY 6.6%

Fogarty should hit 60PPG with the goalkicking and potent attacking weapons outside him in David Fifita and Albert Kelly.

Most popular: Nathan Cleary, Sam Walker

FIVE-EIGHTH

CHANEL HARRIS-TAVITA 6.6%

Harris-Tavita had a nice finish to 2020 for the Warriors averaging 65PPG in seven games, though it’s a small sample size. He’s a dual position five-eigth too so gives good injury cover.

Most popular: Connor Watson, Cameron Munster, Matt Moylan, Cody Walker

CENTRES & WINGERS

BRIAN KELLY 3.6%

Averaged close to 65PPG when he played the full 80 minutes and that was scoring just 6 tries 13 games. He’s partnered with David Fifita on a potentially lethal left edge for the Titans.

BRIAN TO’O 5%

Takes plenty of runs and makes a stack of tackle busts with 32PPG in base stats. He switches to the left side of the Panthers attack and should improve on his six tries in 13 games at 58.9PPG in 2020.

CAMPBELL GRAHAM 2.6%

Scored 10 tries in the last 7 games of 2020 at 84PPG. He had a fantastic 37PPG in base stats over 2020, the equal best of a genuine CTW.

KEN MAUMALO 1%

Missed the second half of the 2020 season with the Warriors but was an absolute weapon in 2019 with 17 tries in 24 games at 60PPG. The Warriors really missed his ability to finish off the work of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

Most popular: Charlie Staines, Daine Laurie, Fanitesi Niu, Bailey Simonsson, Joseph Suaalii, James Roberts, Jason Saab, David Fusitu’a, Kurt Capewell, Stephen Crichton, Zac Lomax.

CLINT GUTHERSON 5%

Plays the Broncos in Round 1 after putting scores of 124 and 114 on them last year. A solid bet if you want to burst out of the blocks and he averaged 70PPG in 2020.

Most popular: Charlie Staines, Daine Laurie, Fanitesi Niu, Ryan Papenhuyzen, James Tedesco, Joseph Suaalii, Matt Moylan, Latrell Mitchell.
