Police uncover 39kg of meth in Milton drug raid

Police have executed a search warrant at an apartment in Milton where 39kg of methylamphetamine have been seized.
Detectives from the Crime and Intelligence Command’s Drug and Serious Crime Group are seeking information after receiving the tip-off from members of the public yesterday.
Police found the huge stash of methylamphetamine, along with 5.7kg of cocaine and 4.9kg of cannabis inside the unit.
The combined estimated street value of the seized drugs is $6.2 million.
Police also found approximately 2L of liquid methylamphetamine, gloves, scales and other drug related equipment.
Investigations are ongoing.
