Wanted 31-year-old charged with seriously assault on police officer
A man, already on a warrant for an alleged burglary, caused a disturbance in Wishart today allegedly assaulting an officer in the face.

A man wanted for an alleged burglary will face court for allegedly assaulting a Brisbane police officer this morning.
The 31-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences following an incident in Wishart.
Officers were called to an address in Boyanda Street shortly after 7am following reports of an alleged disturbance.
Police alleged found a man who was wanted on a warrant for an alleged burglary offence from earlier this month.
Police then tried to arrest him before he allegedly hit an officer in the face and ran away.
A senior constable suffered minor facial injuries in the incident.
Police tracked the man to Mount Gravatt Capalaba Road where he was arrested a short time later.
The 31-year-old man has been charged with one count each of serious assault on a police officer, escape lawful custody, burglary and commit indictable offence, attempted unlawful use of motor vehicle, possessing drug utensils, receiving tainted property and three counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
He will appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 27.
