Two hospitality veterans, who are also best friends, have launched Brisbane’s newest hotspot to satisfy all Asian fusion cravings in the heart of Sherwood.

A hospitality duo — formed by two best friends — has launched Brisbane’s newest Asian fusion restaurant with mouth watering dishes they believe will have everyone drooling.

Industry veterans Lisa Nguyen and Trinh Ho opened the doors of their newest venture ‘Viet Flavour’ at 600 Sherwood Road, Sherwood this week.

Mrs Nguyen said she had owned restaurants in Sydney for more than 10 years and was excited to share her passion for Asian fusion cuisine with Brisbane.

“Trinh and I met while studying and always knew we wanted to share our culture and love for cooking with the local community,” Ms Nguyen said.

“We have combined healthy and fresh ingredients with traditional flavour everyone will love.

“We love creating together, we work hard to provide the best quality meals and the best customer service so we know people will come back,” she said.

The restaurant is Ms Nguyen’s second business venture in Queensland after her first hospitality venture AAA Bakery at Loganholme.

“When this space came up we knew it was a perfect size for us to work and cook in together, we have developed a menu combining Vietnamese, Chinese and Mongolian treats,” Ms Nguyen said.

Viet Flavour has combined traditional and modern Vietnamese cuisine.

“We have renovated the whole place with traditional designs and a vintage feel but have combined this with a modern twist,” Ms Nguyen said.

“We serve beer, wine, homemade fruit teas and delicious desserts customers have to try.

“We are passionate about meeting new customers and having them share their dining experience with their friends,” Ms Nguyen said.

“This is a new location for us so it has been a challenge getting our name out there, we have invested everything we have into this new business and we are excited to really make it something in the Sherwood community.

Ms Nguyen said she is excited to bring her passion for Vietnamese cuisine to the Sherwood community.

“We are offering an opening ten per cent discount deal until April 21,” she said.

Viet Flavour is open for dine in or takeaway Monday to Friday 8.30am - 8.30pm, Saturday 9am - 8.30pm and Sunday 4pm - 8.30pm.
