The two people charged with attempted murder by police after a man was allegedly shot at a unit in Brisbane’s inner-north earlier this year have been identified.

Two people have been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot at a unit in Brisbane’s inner-north earlier this year.
Police allege a 40-year-old man was shot through a front security screen door at a unit on Tufton St at Bowen Hills around 2.45pm on July 29.
He suffered a gunshot wound to his hip and pelvis and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital after the incident.
Police investigations have resulted in detectives charging Richard Bell and Stephanie Lee Mackay, both from East Brisbane, with attempted murder overnight.
Mr Bell, 53, was also charged with attempted armed robbery, acts intended to maim/disfigure/disable, unlawful possession of a weapon and possess thing and two counts of supply a dangerous drug (namely methylamphetamine).
Ms Mackay, 31, was also charged with attempted armed robbery, acts intended to maim/disfigure/disable, unlawful possession of a weapon and possess thing.
They were both due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court today, November 3.
