Famous Gold Coast cabaret club Pink Flamingo is set to make its glamorous Brisbane debut as its seven-year residency at Northshore begins on December 1.

From December, the city will be home to three resident productions — Suave, La Teaze and Ripped — with eight performances each week at a 400-seat venue, paired with crafted cocktails, and full bars and food offerings.

Inspired by the original 1920s Spiegeltent and the NYC Cabaret Club district, The Pink Flamingo Spiegelclub on the Gold Coast opened its famous pink doors four years ago as the first of its kind in the world — a luxury custom-designed entertainment destination, with a purpose-built theatre for multi-use experiences like cabaret, burlesque, comedy, acrobatics, drag and more.

The swanky art-deco decor features luxurious pink velvet and gold seating over two levels, with its Brisbane sister expected to rival the Gold Coast production.

The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland will create 150 jobs across the theatre and hospitality sector in Brisbane.

Co-director Sue Porrett said it was absolutely time that Brisbane had a glitter-bomb show and kaleidoscope of colour.

“Expect world class international acrobats and specialty acts, side splitting comedy, a chorus line of stunning showgirls and vocals all wrapped up and garnished with The Pink Flamingo twist,” Ms Porrett said.

“This is our invitation for Brisbane to expect the unexpected, and immerse in our wonderful, wild world.”

Co-director Tony Rigas said the 400-seat Brisbane venue comes off the back of soaring success on the Gold Coast.

“After the enormous success of the Gold Coast, we knew an expansion was always on the cards,” Mr Rigas said.

“With Brisbane evolving into a truly international destination, the city was the natural choice for us, and Northshore the perfect destination for the first Pink Flamingo Spiegeland to flock on in!”

The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland Brisbane will host private bookings and special events, including hens and bucks parties, weddings and Christmas.

The venue’s even year stay will make way for the Media Village for the 2032 Olympic Games.

The Pink Flamingo Spiegeland Brisbane open on Friday, December 1, with all tickets on sale today at PinkFlamingoAustralia.com or by calling the box office on 1800 BUYNOW.
