A dedication to service and quality has helped a longstanding bayside business claim Wynnum’s best bakery.

A longstanding bayside business has reached new heights after readers had their say on Wynnum’s best bakery.

Wynnum West Bakery and Cafe, owned by Aaron Pham, was voted as the winner of the inaugural competition, headed by master chef Matt Preston.

The venue was considered the best by baysiders with the Golden Baguette Bakehouse coming in a close second.

Mr Pham, who has ran the bakery for 11 years, said it was a great feeling to win the award.

“It’s really cool, it’s great to be rewarded like this by the customers,” he said.

Wynnum West Bakery and Cafe, based at 12/2067 Wynnum Rd, specialises in everything from cakes, pastries, salad rolls, coffees and more.

But Mr Pham said there were two reasons he believed his shop won the award.

“I think it’s our dedication and commitment to service and quality,” he said.
