Qld Police investigate stolen Windsor car case, burnt and left at parklands

Police are investigating after a 4WD was stolen from a ritzy suburb in Brisbane’s north before being dumped and set on fire at a parklands in the city’s south.

Police are investigating after a 4WD was stolen from a ritzy suburb in Brisbane’s north before being dumped and set on fire at a parklands in the city’s south.

A silver 2010 Mitsubishi Pajero was reported stolen from a Windsor address between 12am and 1am on November 12.

But the car, with Queensland registration plates 066RLQ, was located around 3am in the parklands off Gowan Rd, Stretton three days later on November 15

Police are appealing for public assistance and urge anyone, who has seen the car or may have dashcam footage from Windsor on November 12 or Stretton, to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
