The construction arm of a Brisbane company that offers painting, landscaping and more has been forced into liquidation by challenging economic conditions.
365 Construction Services Pty Ltd at unit 1/89 Riverside Pl, Morningside, entered into voluntary liquidation, having employed 21 employees, including the director, with all employees owed entitlements.
Johnathan McLeod from McLeods has been appointed liquidator and said the director had told him the construction company's failure was underpinned by ‘the economic downturn’.
“The director has advised that the company ceased to trade on 1 September 2023,” Mr McLeod said.
“My investigations in relation to creditors is continuing.”
365 Construction Services Pty Ltd is just one branch of the 365 Services Group at Morningside, which includes cleaning services, painting and plastering services, landscaping services and property and maintenance services.
Mr McLeod said at this stage, it was unclear whether the liquidation of 365’s construction arm had impacted the other sectors of the overarching company.
The 365 Services Group website has closed but its Instagram page, 365servicesgroup has many videos and images that feature the director, Joshua Waldron.
