“Police located the stolen BMW and conducted a search on the two offenders where the found drugs,” the spokesman said.

“No charges have been laid and investigations are continuing.”

The discovery comes after Wynnum Police have made it clear they are targeting drug activity in the area following a bust last month as part of an ongoing operation, which saw 10 people charged with a total of 20 offences.

Wynnum West was also one of the top 15 Brisbane suburbs for drug arrests in the past two years with 295 arrests.

Wynnum Police senior sergeant Wayne Richter said Primrose Parade , a street which featured several Department of Housing properties, in Wynnum West was a notorious hot spot for drug activity.
