COORPAROO-based developers the Karam brothers officially launched their $95 million Maasra Apartments project on Tuesday night.
Anthony and Jason Karam, owners of Tilermade on Old Cleveland Rd, said more than 130 home buyers had already registered interest in Maasra Apartments.
The development, on the fringe of Coorparoo Junction, was officially launched by Deputy Premier Jackie Trad, with more than 100 VIP guests attending.
Anthony Karam said at least 10 people a day had registered their interest in the apartments ahead of the official launch.
“We grew up in Coorparoo and we wanted to create something that would be embraced by the community,” Mr Karam said.
The 131 apartments will be built across two eight-storey towers, which will also include three levels of underground parking, commercial office space, meeting rooms and a boutique retail precinct.
Apartments start from $395,000.
The podium level will include a 25m pool, sundeck, gymnasium, barbecue area and entertainment area.
